Rosa Parks JBBP is a unique public elementary school program integrating authentic instruction and experiences in Japanese language and culture with SFUSD's daily core curriculum.

ローザ・パークス小学校日本語バイリンガル・バイカルチュアル・プログラム(JBBP)はサンフランシスコ市学区に所属するユニークな公立小学校です。当校では当学区で定められたカリキュラムに加えて、毎日、日本語を母国語とする「先生」により生きた日本語及び日本文化を学びます。

Curriculum(カリキュラム):

Core curriculum taught in English by credentialed teachers and one hour of formal Japanese instruction (reading, writing, conversation) taught by native Japanese-speaking faculty (sensei) and integrated by teachers throughout the day.

カリフォルニア州の教員免許を持つ教師による英語での一般教育課程の指導に加え、一日１時間日本語を母国語とする先生により日本語の読み書き、会話、そして日本文化を学びます。各担任と先生が協力し合い、１日の間にもできるだけ日本語に触れる様に心がけています。

After 6 years in JBBP, students can expect to meet third grade national content standards for Japanese, established by the U.S. National Standards in Foreign Language Education Project.  

ローザ・パークスJBBPに６年間（幼稚園から5年生まで）在籍していた生徒はアメリカ国家外国語教育規格日本語教科で定められた小学3年生レベルまでの内容を習得します。
