We're looking for awesome people to fulfill these roles:
Unload Moving Truck
Awesome events needs awesome stuff! Volunteers will unload donation items, decorations, audio/video equipment, and many more odds and ends to ensure the success of the event!
Room Setup
If a big pile of stuff is left at the door, it'd be rather hard for our larger community to come in, drink, dance, and spend money. Volunteers will arrange donation tables, decorate, place items attractively, setup placards & bid sheets, maybe even do some lighting design! We will also decorate the room (HUGE job) and help the 'Rents band setup!
Decorate
Volunteers will transform a drab meeting hall into a festival! Lights, props, audio, visual, setup silent auction tables, highlight live-auction items, and generally make the auction a welcoming place to all of our greater community!
Silent Auction Setup
If your forté is attractive arrangement, we NEED you to volunteer for Silent Auction setup! Use your experience to transform attractive donation items into irresistible draws and generate generous bids!
Registration & Check-in
Be our first impression! Volunteers will greet guests and bidders, and color the tone of the night!
Live Auction
Do you have swift reflexes, the ability to detect the slightest motion in a bidders paddle, and the tenacity to run-down bids? You're PERFECT for this! Help our auctioneer do his/her job and record bids for our electrifying live-auction.
Check-out
Volunteers will have the enviable task of connecting winners with their spoils! Enjoy happy smiles all evening long (as you take their money)!
Clean-up
Feeling a bit too shy for the more customer-facing roles? Maybe you want to enjoy the auction itself, but still want to volunteer? Clean-up is a great way to cap off a terrific night; yes, we will all be tired, but tired AND happy. It's a good feeling: cleaning up after a great event. Memories, ah, the memories!

JBBP students also celebrate culture and traditions in a way that fosters a lifelong love of learning, prepares them for college, and opens their minds to a global view. JBBP serves a diverse population of students from the neighborhood and throughout the city and is one of the SFUSD’s great success stories.
Unflagging support from parents, families, community organizations and businesses contribute to the development and success of the RPJBBP.
