We will celebrate the holiday that is on 5/5, in the classroom on 5/3
Our JBBP program is celebrating its 50th year, and we invite you to join us for our annual benefit auction. This event is our biggest annual fundraiser to support the program's highest priorities: our beloved sensei, cultural events, classroom supplies, field trips, and even campus enhancements.
This online auction will be March 3rd - March 10th, and back by popular demand, our annual LIVE AUCTION on the night of March 9th from 6-9 pm (Doors open at 5:30 pm) at St. Mary’s Cathedral. Please save those dates !!

The Green Team is so excited that Rosa Parks students will have the opportunity to get their hands dirty in the school gardens this year! Please help us get the spaces ready during our next workday on September 9, 2023 from 9am-12pm in the upper garden.

The Japanese Bilingual Bicultural Program had it’s very first day of school on this date 50 years ago! We will have a ceremony at Rosa Parks Elementary to commemorate this momentous day in our programs history.
Be a part of the Rosa Parks JBBP wave! Every year spectators remark at what an amazing sight it is to see our JBBP community coming over the hill dancing, marching, and having a fantastic time!
All students, families, and alums are welcome to dance and march in the parade on Sunday, April 16. The parade starts at 1pm at Civic Center. Kindergarteners will join the 1st-5th graders at Post & Octavia Streets near the Carlisle. Details regarding meeting place and time to be posted soon.

BRING YOUR OWN HAT AND LONG HAIR SHOULD BE TIED BACK. If not, there are free hairnets available.
